Our next UK Learning Analytics Network meeting is taking place in Newport at the University of South Wales. - An update on Jisc’s learning analytics programme, and details of how the Welsh language is being implemented in the various systems under development
- We also have an interesting session in store from Richard Palmer of Tribal and Rob Wyn Jones from Jisc on how to prepare your data for learning analytics
- Kevin Mayles, Head of Analytics at the Open University, will update us on developments at the OU
- We’ll hear from Aberystwyth University on how they’re implementing attendance monitoring systems – a rich potential source of data for learning analytics
- Finally, Cathy Gunn is visiting us from the University of Auckland, and will be illuminating us about some of the many developments in learning analytics taking place down under
