Jisc Learning Analytics Architecture: Vendor Event – 21st April

Thurs 21st April, 12-4pm, Brettenham House, London.  ->Location

You can now register for Jisc’s event for vendors interested in our open architecture for learning analytics. The architecture builds on open source and commercial tools to provide the components of a learning analytics service for UK higher and further education. It’s designed to allow a wide variety of data sources and tools to be integrated, and to help develop the market for learning analytics products.

LondonWho should attend? Business development and technical managers from vendors of:

  • End-to-end learning analytics systems
  • Business intelligence software
  • Learning management systems
  • Systems which could provide data for learning analytics e.g. e-book platforms, attendance monitoring systems, library software

The event will introduce the architecture and describe how your company could be involved and potentially integrate with it.

Attendance at the event is free. Lunch will be provided from 12pm, with the talks and discussions starting at 1pm.

This event is held in association with:

  1. An international xAPI Camp at the same venue on the following day (22nd April), run by MakingBetter – register here – and
  2. The LAK16 Hackathon at Edinburgh University the following week on 25th and 26th April.
